ITBP Assistant Surgeon Recruitment 2024 Notification Details
ITBP has invited online applications from suitable and eligible candidates with having required qualification and age group for filling up 27 vacant position of Assistant Surgeon ( Assistant Commandant / Veterinary), Group – A, Gazetted (Non Ministerial). Reservation and Relaxation –
Reservation & Relaxation will be given to only reserved & Special categories (SC/ST/OBC/ etc) etc as per government rules and regulations. Reservation guidelines as laid down by Government of India from time to time for SC/ST/OBC/etc. shall be followed. Candidates claiming reservation under reserved categories should submit certificate as per the Govt. Prescribed format issued from the competent certifying authority.

Exam / Interview Date /Centre – will be notified on official website later. Admit cards to the candidates will be issued online mentioning the date and venue of recruitment test. Candidature of candidates who are issued online admit cards will remain provisional till they are finally selected and submit all related documents / certificates in original and in prescribed format at the stage of verification of original documents.
Candidates are required to bring a clear & legible print out of their online application form & admit card, else they will not be permitted to enter the venue of Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Standard Test (PST)
Exam Pattern –
The Candidates who qualify PET/PST shall be required to pass the written examination consisting of following –

Interview – (50 Marks) The Interview will consist of previous experience (05 marks), Additional Qualification (05 Marks), Extra-curricular activities viz sports & NCC (10 Marks), Professional Knowledge (20 Marks) and Personality Test (10 Marks).
